Many OTs, PTs, parents and special educators have said that RMT is one of the best programs they have learned for helping children with challenges.
Maxine Hoffman, pediatric PT from Ohio says: "RMT is the most valuable thing I've learned in 45 years of doing Physical Therapy. We are getting wonderful results."

Introduces the basics of the Touch for Health (TFH) balancing system. Students will learn the art and subtleties of muscle testing, and how to use it to assess the 14 acupuncture meridians. Students will then learn the step-by-step balance-as-you-go process for balancing the body's energies.

The theory of TFH and the acupuncture meridians are introduced with the western reflex techniques that are used to restore balance for improving posture, alleviating stress, and for enhancing mental performance. Balancing techniques include the Neurolymphatic reflexes, Neurovascular reflexes, Meridians, Origin/Insertion, and Food/muscle/meridian testing. Additional techniques included are Cross Crawl, the Emotional Stress Release Technique, Visual Inhibition, and Surrogate Testing.

These techniques can be used by neuro-developmental practitioners and educators to get past conventional educational blocks.

We will have 1 hour for lunch each day. Lecture will be 30% and hands on will be 70% of the class time. We will be sitting, standing and working on the floor on mats. If you have an exercise mat please bring it. Attendees will be issued Touch For Health Kinesiology Association certificates of completion at the end of class on Saturday. Continuing Education credits are available for Massage therapists, Acupuncturists, and Nurses.
