South Sound Autism Conference and Fair

Date: Saturday, March 24th

A box lunch is included. Childcare will not be available.
We know how financially strenuous living with autism can be. We strongly encourage the autism families within SPECIAL Families of Pierce County to apply for free registration to this conference as soon as possible. We will accept requests from any parent of a child with autism, however first priority will be given to those who have participated in at least one of our support group meetings. We are happy to accept requests from more than 1 member of the same family.
Registration request deadline: Wednesday, February 29th!

I know this isn't a spcific event for kids but there are so many kids out there with gut issues I thought parents might really benefit from knowing about this. I can't make it but I sure do wish I could!

Explore the basics of fermentation and culturing. We will learn how to make delious Kim Chee and other probiotic and enzyme rich foods to strengthen out immune systems.

Around the world, people have known for centuries that eating small amounts of fermented food every day is essential for good gut health. The Haselwood Family YMCA and WSU Kitsap Extensions are please to bring you whole-foods nutritionist and fermentation expert, Trish Carty.
