Homeschooling Struggling Learners e-event

Homeschooling Struggling Learners

Sept. 28, 9PM

Oct. 26, 9PM

Is homeschooling a viable option for special needs kids? Are there particular teaching strategies that really work? How can you tell which curriculum is best for the challenges your child faces?

We want to answer your questions with two great @home e-vents crafted especially with you in mind! Faith Berens, one of HSLDA’s special needs coordinators, will present two online workshops on how to home educate your child with learning challenges.

In “Homeschooling Struggling Learners: Yes, You Can Do It!” Faith will offer tips on how to begin or continue homeschooling your struggling learner. In addition, she will provide you with information on the steps you should take to ensure that you are legally protected as a homeschooler with a special needs child. Mark Tuesday, September 28, @ 9:00 p.m. ET on your calendar and come find out how hundreds of other parents of struggling learners are teaching their kids at home!

Faith will join us again on Tuesday, October 26, @ 9:00 p.m. ET to share more about the everyday tactics and tools you need to teach your struggling learner at home. Amid a sea of curricula, learn how to find the one that is right for your child. And because teaching a special needs child requires extra steps, gain insight from someone who has developed teaching techniques based on years of experience. “The Nuts and Bolts of Homeschooling Your Struggling Learner” will leave you encouraged as well as informed.

Attending the first e-vent is not required in order to attend the second; however, we strongly encourage you to attend both to gain maximum insight about how to best educate your child.
If you can’t attend the e-vent live, don’t worry! All of our events are recorded and available to view at your convenience within a few days following the live session. If you purchase the live e-vent, you will be able to view the recording at no extra charge for 30 days. You will receive a link for the archive in your account purchase history a few days following the live e-vent.
